By registering as a user of the TfGM Open Data Portal, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. In order to access the data available via the portal, users are required to provide:
   • Name
   • Contact email address
2. Users are responsible for making sure any contact details provided are accurate and kept up to date to ensure TfGM can keep in contact with users regarding their use of the service.
3. Any personal data you provide on registration is managed under TfGM’s Privacy Policy.
4. Personal data provided will only be used to contact you regarding your use of the service, and will not be shared with any third parties unless permitted or required by law.
5. Unless otherwise specified, data provided via the portal is available for use under the Terms of the Open Government Licence version 3.0 (“OGL v3.0”) which should be read in conjunction with these Terms and Conditions.
   • Where any data is copied, published, distributed, transmitted, adapted, or exploited under the terms of the OGL v3.0, users must acknowledge TfGM as the source of the information by including the following attribution statement ‘Source: Transport for Greater Manchester open data’.
6. Intellectual Property rights in the information are not transferred to the user but remain with the data owner, be it TfGM or another third party by whom TfGM are licenced to release data.
7. TfGM reserves the right to throttle or limit access to feeds if usage is affecting the performance of the service.
8. TfGM reserves the right to block access to feeds if a user appears to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or the terms of the licence(s) under which the data is made available.
9. TfGM reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions and/or the licence(s) under which data is made available at any time. It is the responsibility of the user to regularly review the licence, which will be available on this portal. Continued use of the APIs available via this portal after any changes to these Terms and Conditions and/or the licence(s) under which data is made available will be taken as acceptance of these changes.
10. The Open Government Licence and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
